The National Titanium machine head comes assembled but without a tube, grip or needle bar. The Titanium is a solid, polished titanium milled frame with a slot for adjusting the position of the binding post. It has the swing-gate style tube holding device for easy changing of tubes and needle bars. Titanium is stronger than steel but almost as lightweight as aluminum. TITANIUM and NATIONAL are engraved on the side of the frame but you can also get the frame without the engraving. Approximate weight, without tube: 6 wrap=6.5 oz. 8 wrap=7 oz. Comes with cherry wood box that will accomodate the machine head only. Tube, grip and needle bar will not fit in this gift box. *PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE YOUR MACHINE ASSEMBLED WITH A TUBE YOU MUST ALSO CHOOSE A GRIP AND NEEDLE BAR.
