These 100% stainless steel tube and tips are long wearing so with normal use they will last for many years. No solder is used in the construction of these tubes.

The round liner is designed to accommodate a 1, 3 or 5 round liner needle bar.

I love the diamond tip liners National has but I find these round liners work great for all of the damn tiny script tattoos the collage girls are getting these days, I let the needle hang a bit more so I can see what's going on and zip right through all that stuff. Or, if you got to deal with some of that thick skin  you can pick a depth, stab and steer with confidence, because the tip is so precise you know exactly where your needle is!  Pretty damn cool!
